SILO‑NTI

Offline inventory kiosk for the NTI yard. AIR‑GAPPED

Runs entirely on the device from a USB stick or a local file. It makes no network calls of any kind — the page’s security policy blocks them at the browser level. All data lives in one Excel workbook you carry with you.

⬇ Download the kiosk (single file)
One self‑contained .html — nothing to install.

How it works

  1. Get your database file (.xlsx) from the yard office — it holds the inventory, layout and your login.
  2. Put the kiosk file and the database file on a USB stick (or anywhere local).
  3. Open silo-nti-kiosk.html in Chrome or Edge, load the database file, and sign in.
  4. Scan with a USB barcode scanner to look up, receive or sign out material, and fill room requests.
  5. Press Export / Save when you’re done and send that file back to the yard office to be merged.

Why it’s compliant

No data leaves the device
No servers, no sync, no telemetry. The browser blocks every outbound request.
Works with no internet
Airplane mode, no Wi‑Fi, straight off a USB stick — identical behaviour.
You hold the data
One Excel workbook. Nothing hidden, nothing in the cloud.
Full audit trail
Every scan is logged with who and when, and merges back append‑only.
